(The Hague, NED, December 15, 2025) Snowfest The Hague is just around the corner and will bring true winter magic to the city from December 19–21, just days before Christmas. The event takes place right in the heart of The Hague, directly opposite Den Haag Centraal station. The sporting highlight is the fifth and final stop of the Rock A Rail Tour 2025, featuring many of the tour’s well-known riders. Alongside the competitions, the Snowfest Village next to the setup showcases the full diversity of winter sports with various stations to try out, all free of charge.

Final Push for the Rock A Rail Tour 2025: The grand finale of the Rock A Rail Tour traditionally takes place in The Hague, the birthplace of Rock A Rail. What began in 2011 as a local rail jam with a dedicated fanbase has grown into a European tour. The season kicked off in early October in Hintertux during the legendary Hintertux Park Opening. One week later, the same setup was already in Thun for the Freestyle Roots Festival. At the end of November, things picked up speed with the third Rock A Rail stop at Snowfest Innsbruck, followed just a week later by the tour’s Baltic premiere in Riga (LAT). Now, excitement is building for the big finale in The Hague, where many familiar faces from previous stops are set to compete.

Snowboard Line-Up: In the women’s field, Anne-Sophie Lechon (BEL) and Mia Langridge (GBR) will be at the start, both coming into The Hague with three podium finishes each this season. Local favorite Rachida Aoulad is also expected to draw strong support from the home crowd, she last claimed victory in The Hague in 2020. In the men’s field, Moritz Amsüss (AUT), winner of the Innsbruck stop, is among the top contenders. Local heroes Senna van Drunen, last year’s third-place finisher, and Casper Holtzapfel are sure to ignite the atmosphere among the Dutch fans.

Snowfest Village: The Snowfest Village continues to grow and plays a central role in this year’s event. It offers a wide range of activities for all ages, with plenty to discover. Local clubs and associations will be present, and visitors can try out different winter sports directly on site. Families are especially welcome on Sunday for the Kidsday from 11:00–17:00, where children can try skiing, biathlon, snowboarding, sledding, and more. The Snowfest Village transforms into a true winter paradise for young adventurers. Additionally, Sunday will feature a World Rookie Street Tour stop, giving local up-and-coming riders the chance to shine on the Rock A Rail setup.

A Winter Weekend in The Hague: For those looking to soak up the Christmas spirit, Snowfest The Hague pairs perfectly with a visit to the Royal Christmas Fair on Lange Voorhout. A shuttle boat operated by Willemsvaart connects both locations for just €2 per person.
