FIRE IN THE FRIDGE RECAP 21 – SEPT – 2019
On September 21st, the dutch Dome De Uithof (The Hague) got smashed by some of the best jibbers from all around the Netherlands and other countries, like Belgium or Spain. But if you want to know what really went down during the last edition of Fire in the Fridge, check out their video recap by Daily Chaos.
The regular snowpark setup of De Uithof got upgraded to meet the standards of their super demanding crew of riders: transfers, close-up rails, donkies, transitions, etc. All the riders kept sending it from the beginning until the end. But, the lucky winners were:
Battle of the old man (offline) – Wouter Groot
Best crash a.k.a. Xion’s bodyguard – Nils Breva
Lobster’s Fire marshall – Bob Ibe
Best AM by Uithof – Marcin Mysza
Baked downhill – Joop Nissink
And, last but not least, the Rock a Rail wildcard winner of the day was Mees Oostdijk. The dutch young gun did not have an easy way into Rock a Rail. This time, he had to impress the toughtest judges out there: the riders themselves. Thom Wjinstra showed some really crazy maneuvers on the rails too. And, it was only by one vote of difference with Mees Oostdijk that he could not win. Maybe next time!
The Battle of the Old Man is still on. As mentioned in our previous post, there is an online Battle of the Old Man going down on Instagram. If you want to be able to win some goodies thanks to The Old Man Amsterdam click HERE and get all the information about how to enter the game!
