LAAX – HIBERNATION 2018 WITH NICOLAS MÜLLER, SEVERIN VAN DER MEER & JOHN JACKSON –
Our wishes came true – and here is the evidence. LAAX experienced extreme snowfall at all elevations during the early weeks of the past winter. With little sunshine available, the forest became the playground of choice during this time, providing Nicolas and Severin the perfect setting to stack a catalog of the deepest pow slashes, massive pillow hits, butters, and big smiles. On the last day they were joined by John Jackson to revisit Nico’s Resonance cover spot from back in 2012 – a pillow he named “Moby Dick”, with a 1 metre sweet-spot for a landing, a massive drop, and an ultra sketchy in-run. Seemingly all stars aligned again for this one, only 5 years later.
