SPRING SESH COMES BACK TO SNOWPARK ZERMATT WITH A SUNNY OPENING WEEKEND

Spring Sesh comes back to Snowpark Zermatt with a sunny opening weekend and more events to come

Creative setup, affordable ticket deals and side events to make it even more fun for all the park rats.

With the glacier season starting all around Europe and riders looking to get some sunny laps in the park after the snowy winter, Snowpark Zermatt just hosted it’s opening weekend for the month long Spring Sesh. For the second year in a row shapers built a special setup with a creative rail garden, jumps and snow features like the skate style bowl. The park will stay open until 27th of May, with the chairlift working until 2pm everyday and side events like Cash 4 Tricks Jam and Sunset Session.

PARK SETUP

Many shaper hours were put into building the spring session setup designed by Matteo Ferraris, long time Italian head shaper, and the help of the whole snowpark team. Snowpark Zermatt, known for it’s creative jibb lines, love for snow features and transitions, aims to fulfil every expectation of new-style park riders. First week of May brought lots of fresh snow to the pictures and the team doesn’t plan on stopping at that. Rebuilds and new features will be coming up through the whole session.

EVENTS

Coming up this weekend, Saturday 12th, is the Cash 4 Tricks Jam with a prize pool of 1000 CHF supported by Doodah Store and Zermatt Bergbahnen. Come over and enjoy the good vibes, music, grill and riders throwing themselves at the rail setup by the chill area just to get that cash. One week later the special Sunset Session will take place on Saturday the 19th. For the first time during spring session the chairlift will stay open until 4pm so everyone can enjoy a longer shred time.

TICKET DEAL

Shredding is always the best with friends and now it’s even more affordable. Spring Sesh in Zermatt creates a great opportunity to enjoy a quality snowpark for much lower prices than usual. With a crew of 3 riders there is a discount of 50%, that is 175 CHF (about 147€) for 6 days pass for one person. Compared to Kaunertal (179€), Kaprun (222€), Stubai (190€) it might be the best deal in this part of Europe right now. For those who cannot get their friends out of work or school, the skipass price goes down by 20%, that’s 67CHF (about €56) per day. To enjoy this Special Deal make sure to book the tickets online, before arriving in Zermatt.
