(The Hague, NED, December 21, 2025) From December 19 to 21, Snowfest The Hague once again traditionally hosted the grand finale of the Rock A Rail Tour. The fifth and final tour stop marked the conclusion of a highly successful third season and brought top-level international freestyle action to the Dutch city. In the snowboard competition, Katja Dutu (NED) and Botond Fricz (HUN) claimed the victories, The Snowfest Village, featuring numerous stations, brought the excitement of winter sports to life and drew many visitors throughout the weekend, while Sunday’s program focused on children and families with the dedicated Kids Day.
Rock A Rail stands out like no other format for urban street-style freestyle at world-class level. Creative and technically demanding setups challenge riders year after year. With five tour stops in autumn 2025, the tour once again confirmed its position as the leading international in-city rail contest format.

Snowboard: Dutu and Fricz take victory in The Hague. For snowboarders, this marked the 12th Rock A Rail edition in The Hague, the city where the event began in 2011. In the women’s competition, local hero Rachida Aoulad (NED) impressed with a spectacular gap to boardslide and finished in third place. Mia Langridge (GBR) claimed second place and stood on the podium at four of the five Rock A Rail tour stops this season. 1st place went to Katja Dutu (NED). With a technically strong backside lipslide pretzel out in the very final run of the competition, she secured her first Rock A Rail win and earned the Best Trick Award. In the men’s event, Joewen Frijns (BEL) finished third. Oscar Mattart (FRA) delivered one of the surprises of the evening, placing second and landing the Best Men’s Trick with a gap backside 360 to 50-50 on the down-flat-down rail. Botond Fricz (HUN) claimed his first-ever Rock A Rail victory, throwing down tricks like his signature backside tailslide 270 and a hardway cab 270 on the down-flat-down rail.
